GWMBC HISTORIC RECOGNITION

On that historic “Bloody Sunday,” in the MARCH FROM SELMA TO MONTGOMERY in 1965, across the Edmund Pettus Bridge , our own member Sister Amelia Boynton Robinson was beaten and left for dead.

On this past Wednesday, the Social Security Administration, through its Montgomery Chapter of The Black Affairs Council honored Sister Robinson. The highlight of the luncheon hour was a presentation: Congressional Record of the 113th Congress, First Session by The Honorable Terri Sewell, D-Alabama 7th Congressional District.

Today, we want to share this distinct presentation and honoree with you
Brothers and Sisters in Christ, this is HISTORY, ALIVE AND REAL!!
